Rules

The MPBA Fast Electric Section  encompasses two categories of competition.

Circuit Racing

This category includes all forms of racing which involve a duration event around a predefined course.

In general, the rules are closely based upon the Naviga M Section rules. This allows competitors to prepare for International or World competitions organised by Naviga.

The Naviga rules can be found here.

However, to suit local conditions, the competitions that are organised by the MPBA conform to the rules found here.

The national competition is normally held once a year and is open to all club racers who must have the relevant experience and MPBA membership.

SAW’s

SAW’s stands for “Straight AWay”. A strange acronym for sure.

This is a pure speed event where the competitors try to achieve the fastest speed over a measured distance in a straight line. There are many classes in this category and the rules can be found here.
