Having had further thought to this issue I think that the main concern is with the hydro 2 class. These boats are getting bigger and to get two of them around the bends has been difficult even with the original course, with many accidents. So for this reason I would prefer at least 10 metres at the ends. I am with Paul Upton-Taylor in as much as no clear comparison can be achieved by a non-compliant course with Naviga perimeter length. Keep the course as it was originally laid out by Ian and George.

    Seasons greetings to all.

    Hi Martin,

I am quite happy to have the course perimeter the same as the official Naviga length. I think I would go for the 9.5m option.

    Hi Martin,

Do you know the current clearance on the left hand side. I do not think we should go any less than this and preferably a little greater. Consideration also needs to be made for the distance from the pit straight bank so that no changes need to be made to the transponder wires and ironwork.

    Regards
